Club Golf d’Aro reinforces its staff with new additions and thanks
Club Golf d’Aro – Mas Nou has reinforced its staff with new additions and structure, in a year in which the entire team has had to work hard to withstand and overcome the consequences of the pandemic.
And within this context, it is worth mentioning the retirement of the team’s oldest worker, the caddy master Antonio, considered by many golfers who visit the course as an endearing character linked to the course ‘for life’.
“The Golf d’Aro team thanks Antonio for these more than 14 years of professionalism, dedication and dedication. We wish him the best in his new stage of retirement”, says Rocío Aranda, director of Club Golf d’Aro, before the club pays tribute to him with a small farewell ceremony.
The club has already introduced Gabriel Hernández and Adrián Montoto to its new team, two young people with a lot of enthusiasm and initiative, who both already work as marshalls and caddy masters of the club.
Another novelty this year has been the definitive transfer of the reception and offices, previously located in the emblematic Golf d’Aro farmhouse, to the top, to the driving range facilities, next to the Golf d’Aro Academy.
The Proshop is located there and there is more space for the management of green fees, the sale of golf equipment and administration. Attentive customer service are Ester, Mònica, Beth and Marta.
Lastly, the club’s management thanked the gardening team for all the great work done during and since the months of confinement due to Covid-19, which keep the Les Gavarres course in excellent condition.
Under the direction of Adrián Muñoz, head greenkeeper, the course has improved the state of the bunkers, has revitalized the grass on the fairways and has increased the speed of the greens. As proof of this, a family photo was taken, with all the machinery, on the antegreen of the 18th hole.
