That work of dissemination, awareness and promotion of sustainability that The Golf Environment Organization (GEO) requires to grant its certificate, is still in force in this Catalan club, which if last year it was renewed with a fleet of ecological buggies, this year it gives continuity of its commitment by implementing selective waste collection and contributing to the conservation of birds in its privileged golf enclave.
“The objective is that year after year we add value to our GEO Sustainability Certificate, as proof of the continued commitment that the club has assumed with the environment,” says Rocío Aranda, director of the Club Golf d’Aro. “We can now communicate to our customers, especially the members who come every day, that we have made selective waste collection available to them.”
